The Cherry Blossom String Quartet boasts an ever-expanding repertoire of all of your favorite pop songs, elegantly performed by musicians with decades of wedding and event experience! CBSQ has performed at well over 1,000 events since its founding in 1992. We perform regularly at the DC area's most distinctive and iconic venues, including the National Archives, the Library of Congress, and the National Museum of Women in the Arts, as well as at numerous churches, synagogues, hotels, and wineries. While the players' roots are in classical music, CBSQ's song list spans from baroque music to the latest hits of today's popular artists. The members of CBSQ enjoy all aspects of managing the quartet, from booking gigs to arranging special music requests. We are one of the few quartets in the area who regularly engage the same four musicians for events - our ensemble synchronization is unbeatable!
