Cat Lady Cabaret - Stilts, Fire, Music, and MORE Circus Performer from Pittsburgh, PA

Charmaine Freemonk aka Cat Lady Cabaret is exactly as her title alludes - she does a whole Cabaret full of acts, and is always adding more! Feel free to throw any idea at her, she loves a challenge! In this Cabaret, you can find: Fire Eating, Fleshing and Vapor tricks, Fire Breathing, Fire Dancing with 4-wick Hula Hoops, 3-wick Double Mini Hoops, Twin Batons, Leviwand, Palm Torches, Dance Belt, Snakes, Jump Rope, Flag, Long Chain Poi, Cat Marionette (yes, she has a FIRE CAT marionette!!), Large and Mini Fire Fans, and more as she adds new props to her arsenal. She can also perform with these props while on stilts, along with a variety of day flow silk props, and LED props! So. Many. Props. Definitely check out the photos and video or request a full list! In this Cabaret, you can furthermore find: Side Show entertainment in the form of Stapling things to Char, our beloved Bed of Nails, Fire Eating, Fleshing and Vapor Tricks! If you ask nicely, Charlie Loudpants (unhinged clown act) will show up with their World Famous Rubber Chicken Theater! Charlie can either be tall and crazy, or short and crazy. Your choice! In this Cabaret, we also have burlesque, Bollywood-Style dance with or without fire, prop manipulation, and live music!! There is ukulele, piano, and hours of crowd pleasing favorite tunes! Where this madness comes from: Charmaine has been on stages since she was 5, having taken ballet. tap and modern dance as a child, gymnastics, and gone to several acting camps while in gradeschool. She loved and lived for theatre productions - both plays and musicals, playing male characters just as often as female characters due to her non-binary appearance and gender fluidity - through her high school years and started dabbling in indie film and working with film students as an actress in her early 20s. She continued to do live theater throughout this time. Of note was her first Shakespeare play - "Romeo and Juliet" put up at South Park Theater, with one month to learn lines for the Bard, the Prince, and Mercutio. It was a blast. More recently, after a few years raging the keys on various stages around Pittsburgh and in Ohio, even as far north as Erie, Charmaine (Cat Lady Cabaret Ringmaster) took to fire performance and has never stopped, increasing her yearly shows exponentially 'since she started performing professionally around 2011.
