CAISO SteelBand Steel Drum Band from Washington, DC

Thank you for the opportunity to share some information about CAISO SteelBand with you. At times event planning can be very stressfull. CAISO wants to make booking a live band as simple as possible. CAISO stands for Caribbean American International Steel Orchestra. We are the hottest steeldrum band in the DC and Baltimore area. Our music draws from the Calypso, Soca, Reggae, and Latin Jazz influences. The band has been in existence for over 30 years which should give you some evidence as to level of professionalism. Our band has sustained its high reputation these many years; we are primarily an instrumental group, however, we can include vocals in our performances. Our small ensembles provide a big band sound. CAISO SteelBand has headlined concert and community events as well as performed as opening act for nationally known touring bands such as the Beach Boys and Jimmy Buffet. We are regularly booked to promote brand and product launches for major corporations and small businesses. Examples of some of our recent brand marketing bookings have been for the Safeway's National Capital Barbeque Battle in DC, the Caribbean Sounds 10K Race and 5K Walk (charity event in DC), TGI Fridays, DC Jazzfest Jazz in the hood series just to name a few. We continue to perform throughout the DMV and have took our talents all the way to the country of Kosovo! Our band has the expertise to provide festive live caribbean steeldrum music for weddings, corporate and social events. We are the trailblazers of steeldrum music in the DMV and second to none. We typically perform as 4 player group. We also perform as Steeldrum soloist and duo even trio, providing quality live music to fit all budgets.
