Brad and Erica Shores, known as Tropical Shores Steel Drums, has been performing on steel drums since 1989 at various events including the State Fairs, pool parties, luaus, receptions and many other special occasions. Tropical Shores blends the sound of the islands with a bit of lively jazz to form a uniquely festive sound. Tropical Shores is surprisingly affordable and can tailor a performance to meet the needs of the client. They specialize in adding an 'island' flavor to any event and frequently do educational programs to further the art of steel drums. The performance may be adjusted to fit the need and budget of the event. For instance, Tropical Shores can perform a program of what is called "Edutainment", combining music with a discussion of the history of this intriguing instrument. Or, maybe the event simply needs background music to add an "island feel" to the day. Additionally, Tropical Shores can perform as a solo or duo, according to the needs of the event.
