Comedian Donna Lewis Stand Up Comedian from Hampton, VA

Donna Lewis is a stand-up comedian, sketch and improv performer based out of Hampton, Virginia. She performs at various clubs locally, regionally and nationally and for corporate and private events. She's opened for comedy legend Marsha Warfield, Maria Bamford and Michael Ian Black. She's performed in LA, Atlanta, Boston and NYC at well-known comedy clubs. She’s been seen at comedy festivals across the US and Canada and also performs sketch and improv comedy with the group she founded in called Lemon Pepper and Sazón Comedy. Besides being a standup comic, Donna Lewis is also an experienced improv and sketch comedian. Initially trained in improv at the Push Comedy Theater in Norfolk, VA, she also has studied improv at the world-famous Upright Citizens Brigade (taking all levels) in New York City through their Diversity Fellowship and taken advanced improv classes in Genre and Musical Improv with the Squirrel Comedy Theater also in New York City. Through her love of improv and seeing a lack of diversity in it, she founded an all-POC improv and sketch group called Lemon Pepper & Sazón Comedy (LP&S) in 2018. LP&S has performed at the Charm City Comedy Festival (Baltimore), VA Beach Comedy Festival, Newark (NJ) Improv Festival, Magnet Theater (NYC), North Carolina Comedy Festival, Baltimore Improv Festival, DC Sketchfest, Toronto SketchFest. In 2020, she started a Diversity Council whose purpose is to bring improv and sketch training opportunities to underrepresented groups through its Diversity Scholarship and a monthly Diversity Improv Jam that she produces and hosts at the Push Comedy Theater showcasing diverse improv performers.
