Nathan Ivey Spoken Word Artist from Atlanta, GA

My name is Nathan Ivey and I have been performing spoken word acts since my first year of college in 2006. I remained a part of a three-man spoken word group entitled Project Logic in which we performed in events from talent shows to open mics. We made a name for ourselves within the Columbia, SC city limits and eventually grew to perform at the Columbia Museum of Art and the Koger Center for Arts. After graduation, I was a substitute teacher in the Aiken and Richmond County school systems for a year. Afterwards, I became a Digital Printer at ARC Document Solutions. When I am not at work, I am attending spoken word events and creating solo projects as well as collaborative projects with artists of various genres. My poems include a range of topics such as love, accomplishments, anniversaries, current events, activism, etc. Also, I compose personalized poems for the recipients if they request. Spoken Word is not just my talent, it is my personality.
