THE BRASS BROTHERS are able to accommodate a wide variety of venues and budgets. I'm dedicated to finding the right fit for you. Our experience ranges from Studio work, to Mardi Gras, to Television shows, to Blues festivals, to weddings of the rich and famous (and not so rich and famous), to Charity work to just having a good time entertaining. THE BAND IS NOT A STATIC CONFIGURATION. I pull together talent and adjust to the needs of your event. We play Blues, jazz, funky jazz, swing, reggae, R&B from the 60s and 70s, 80s and today's good stuff. Our goal is to entertain your guests. I can arrange for 1-8 or more musicians to be on stage to "Bring it!" I flex the members and the instrumentation of our group to fit your entertainment vision. WHO ARE WE? Dexter and "Big" Mike hold down the brass from trumpet to flugelhorn to trombone. We back musicians such as Larry Kimpel of Frankie Beverly and MAZE, famed blues guitarist Teddy Lee Hooker, super recording artist sax man Rodney Taylor, and the most entertaining group of young reggae young bloods out there Zephyris (and others as requested). We often have these musicians back us to help us put our unique sound out at events.
