Hello all! My name is Samantha Stevens, I am a solo Jazz/Singer-Songwriter artist based in Brooklyn, NY. Though I am currently in and out of town touring with Norah Jones, when I'm in town, I love to play private events. I cover classic artists like Carole King, Joni Mitchell, Chet Baker, Sarah Vaughan, Billie Holiday, Donny Hathaway, Roberta Flack, The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, and Nina Simone, along with select modern artists like Adele, John Legend, and Amy Winehouse. My projects have been lauded by Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, Downbeat, and the New York Times, and featured on various official Spotify playlists, including “Best Vocal Jazz of 2021.” Search "Sami Stevens" to find my original music on Spotify. My performances solo on keys and voice are intimate and personal, perfect for private events, dinners, cocktail hours, etc. If desired, I am more than happy to expand the instrumentation as well, as I often perform in different combinations, including with an upright bassist, drummer, guitarist and/or tenor saxophone player. Music is my life, and I take pride in every performance I do.
