Maureen was great!!! I loved her from the first song she sang. My guests were all pleased as well. Everyone sat around listening and enjoying her music. Also, she was very professional, arrived on time to set up and started playing as soon as the first guest arrived. I couldn't of asked anything more of her, I would highly recommend her.

Maureen was the consummate professional. It was what we wanted, never what she wanted, and she did it all with style, grace, and great musicianship. All of our guests asked who she was, and we said "oh, just some local shore musician.' They were sure that we flew a ringer in from Nashville. Maureen was great. Period.

I hired Maureen for my brother's memorial service. Once she heard the songs that my brother loved (he was an avid guitarist) she offered to bring a colleague so that they could perform duets. Each song that they played, individually and together was fantastic and the ultimate tribute to my brother. Her voice is beautiful. At one of the lowest points in my life-the death of my beloved brother, Maureen was such a bright spot. She is not only an excellent musician but a truly wonderful person.

Maureen is very professional and very talented. She handled requests and played a wide assortment of music. Unfortunately, Maureen had to cut the performance short because of the teeming rain. We had a tent up, but it was raining so hard it was still coming inside the tent and could have damaged her equipment. This was no fault of her own and even didn't charge us the full amount, which we thought was fair. I would recommend her or use her again.

We hired Maureen for the cocktail hour for our wedding. She was very accomodating to our requests - she played every song we asked for, and even offered to learn a song for us. I only saw about half of her performance because I was busy with pictures, but she was the perfect background music for our event. Her music and singing were great. I couldn't have asked for more.

Maureen Nixon performed at our Christmas party last evening, at our home. Maureen is very professional. Her voice is lovely and she was the perfect addition to our event. Our guests enjoyed listening to her and we even had a couple of holiday sing-a-longs. It was great fun. I would highly recommend Maureen and would work with her again.
