Bringing joy and enthusiasm is what I do best. Whether I'm playing at a church, a wedding, or even for a group of friends, that's the feedback I get -- people love the life that I bring, not only to the music, but to the room and, in turn, to the people present in the room. It's a contagious energy. I've been playing guitar for 20 years, and singing for just as long. I'm always striving to improve, and now I'm helping others to improve also by teaching voice, guitar, and ukulele students at the Academy of Music in Grand Rapids. My favorite thing to do is write and perform my own songs, but I am more than comfortable learning just about any song for various gatherings and events. When I'm not playing music at events, I'm playing music at church. I work as worship leader at The PIER Church in Kentwood, MI, a job which I greatly love, not only because it involves music but because it involves teamwork and creativity, and because the people are honestly a “family.” In a nutshell, booking me for your event will mean smiles and friendliness, excellence and professionalism, and "a good time had by all."
