Rob & John’s time with us was the highlight of our surprise birthday party! The family and guests loved the music, and we truly appreciated all the effort and small touches that went into the show — our dancing neighbors couldn’t agree more as well! We can’t wait to have them back soon.

Rob stepped in and stepped up.
Rob learned our songs in less than 2 days. We had a wedding coordinator: Rob showed her up. Rob went with the song lineup we’d discussed and made every effort to keep our guest entertained with the music we selected, our guests we’re very complimenting of Rob’ and the ambience he created for our ceremony.
The day was 98 degrees which is not typical for our area in Ventura county: Rob was prepared.
Mr. Silkensen, your elegance is obvious and your professionalism was the deal breaker. Thank you for the gift of music on our wedding day, it would not have been the same without you. Eternally grateful!

Rob's selection of music was well-chosen and appropriate for our group of seniors and his warm personality was expressed through his interaction with the audience. Rob is a very skilled musician and uses, what appears to be, state-of-the-art equipment to support his guitar playing and singing. His performance not only met but actually exceeded my expectations!

What a mellifluous voice! Rob Silkensen has a lovely tone to his voice and great control throughout. Songs were well chosen and highly appreciated by the crowd. He was accommodating to special song requests. Rob is also very personable and the service guests enjoyed his presence. I would hire Rob again for my other events.
