Lylah Elizabeth Singer Guitarist from Berwyn, IL

From the sun-drenched deserts of Tucson, Arizona, to the heart of the Midwest in Chicago, Illinois, Lylah Elizabeth crafts a unique blend of indie folk that echoes her journey. With a foundation in classical opera, her music is a harmonious fusion of rich, emotive vocals and earthy, acoustic melodies. Each song tells a story, drawing from her diverse experiences and the vibrant cultures she's encountered along the way. I've had the opportunity to work with MWH Live Entertainment and The Music Trust, performing at venues such as the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile, The Wit Hotel, The W at City Center, and The Palmer House Hilton Hotel. During these gigs I perform 3+ hours of cover material of all genres, mostly consisting of crowd pleasers and classic hits by artists such as The Jackson 5, Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, The Eagles, Britney Spears, Lenny Kravitz, and TLC. I have a wide variety of material to offer and am extremely flexible in terms of genres/ styles! I also offer performances as a duo with bass. Additionally, I've performed original music at other notable Chicago venues such as Navy Pier, Madame Zuzu’s, The Cubby Bear, and Uncommon Ground. I've also participated in Sofar Sounds' intimate pop-up concert series and played at several venues in the DIY Chicago music scene such as Bookclub Chicago and The Sideroom Chicago. I possess all of my own applicable sound equipment and stage decor as well, and only need access to a power outlet!
