His career started in 2017 with the release of his first ep totaling in 300,000 streams on spotify. In 2020 kaleo's song 'turn your way' was selected as a finalist in the john lennon songwriting contest 2021. Kaleo is highly influenced by his surrounding. Growing up, the Hawaii scenery influence his laid-back, easy listening style. John Mayer, Jack Johnson, and the Beatles are his main musical influences. Kaleo had played in weddings all over O'ahu, HI, and is now currently based in Eugene, Oregon eager to meet and share his talent
