Jeremy Goodwyne - Singer/Guitarist Singer Guitarist from Charlotte, NC

I've been singing since before I can remember and playing guitar just a little after that. I grew up doing two parallel tracks of music: leading music in church and playing in rock and roll bands. In high school I got in to vocal jazz and then in college I majored in classical guitar, while also studying jazz, bluegrass, and choral music and conducting. In graduate school I studied church music. But that entire time I continued to play in bands, write and perform as a singer song-writer, and gig as cover artist. The last 5 years I've been playing in a local 90's alternative cover band called Brother Watts. Last year (2024) I recorded and released an album of my own spiritual songs called Firstfruits. My voice is my best musical asset. I can perform lots of different styles, but I'm at my best when I'm crooning. I love to play jazzy ballads, folk songs, and pop tunes with good melodies.
