Not everybody fancies themselves a good dancer. Every event has a few shy guests. A show band performance caters to all attendees and brings them into the spirit with entertainment, not just music. For those who love to dance, there is plenty of action on the dance floor when the MAL-Practice Showband is on stage! Who hires us? The MAL-Practice Showband plays private parties, corporate and special events: grand openings, awards shows, corporate parties, festivals, weddings, farm field days, bar mitzvahs, bat mitzvahs, retirement community parties, family and class reunions. We are based in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania metro area and we do travel. Our Show We like to think we bring a little bit of Las Vegas showmanship to every event. We change costumes, we crack jokes, and we sing our hearts out. Our show will get your guests clapping, singing along and shimmying on the dance floor. Our passion for entertaining led to the creation of something exciting and unique, the MAL-Practice Showband. Our Story Doctor, lawyer, Indian Chief. We've been there, done that and now we feel like breaking out into song (and maybe a little boogie). The MAL-Practice Showband got its name from the fact that many of our band mates have professional careers practicing medicine, law, education, and fitness. We even have a judge in the band! However, we really enjoy performing in front of an audience and showing people a good time. We are musicians, yes, but also top professionals, so we approach every gig with an attitude tuned toward winning you over and giving your guests a thrill.
