Biography Trevor Lund is an exceptionally talented sax player and a gentleman. His personality, energy, and professionalism, coupled with playlists custom made to your taste, will make your party fun, exciting and memorable. With over twenty years of performing professionally on an international scale, Trevor has established himself as a true master of his craft.  He has entertained countless audiences from all walks of life and varied tastes, and has developed the keen ability to adapt to the demands of each unique setting.  Decades of experience go into crafting every performance for each individual client's needs.  Trevor began his professional music career with the Marine Forces Pacific Band in Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.  There he gained the skills of a professional musician as well as the discipline and work ethic of a Marine.  Off duty, he immersed himself in the local music scene, playing with various bands including Honolulu's #1 salsa band ‘Son Caribe’ led by Eddie Ortiz at venues like Hard Rock Cafe in Waikiki. During his time in the Marines, Trevor toured all over the Pacific rim with performances in China (Shanghai, Beijing), Mongolia, Cambodia, Laos, American Samoa, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan.  Following his military service, Trevor was accepted into the Jazz Studies program at the University of North Texas where he graduated with a performance degree in 2016.  Throughout his studies he immersed himself in the rich music scene of Dallas and became a top-call player in the Top 40 Cover Band circuit.  The showmanship required of the best Dallas cover bands is of the highest caliber and transformed Trevor from simply a talented musician to a full-on entertainer. Upon graduating, Trevor was headhunted by talent scouts to perform on luxury cruise ships.  He has entertained crowds on the smallest and most exclusive yachts, as well as the monolithic giants of Royal Caribbean.  Most recently he was selected to perform alongside the inaugural cast of Wizard of Oz on the Icon of The Seas.  Eight years of experience on cruise ships has taught him valuable skills in the art of creating an unforgettable experience for the audience, how to shine in the spotlight, and how to blend into the background when the situation calls for it. Trevor provides a completely self-contained setup and a professional grade sound system which can operate anywhere completely independently, even without access to power. With a collection of over 400 memorized songs, he can provide hours of solo saxophone sets in any style, from current hits to popular classics (Motown, 70s, 80s, 90s), as well as R&B, Country, Pop, Indie Rock, and more. Trevor will play a selection of musical styles catered specifically to your event, and is happy to learn any requests asked for more than a week in advance.
