Steve Lacatena (Saxophone) Saxophonist from Anchorage, AK

Hi, I'm Steve Lacatena, an Anchorage-based saxophone player. After studying Music at Michigan State University, I began my career as a saxophonist in the US Air Force for 10 years playing all over Texas, Mexico, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Alaska, and Canada. My Air Force career took at turn as I became an Electrical Engineer and an Officer but as a musician, I continued to play. I have performed classical recitals, big band jazz, rock, pop, and jazz including performances with the Anchorage and Fairbank Symphony Orchestras. My goal is always to make audiences feel good while enjoying the music I play. I love the music I play and strive to make that come through in my performances. I'd love to be a part of your upcoming event. I’m a good fit for corporate events, private events, gallery openings, museums, breweries, and restaurant bars.
