A bit about me: I have been drawn to music all my life and have been playing sax since 1994. In that time I have played 11 years professionally in NYC as well as 3 years professionally in Las Vegas and 2 years professionally on cruise ships and around the world with different bands. My style is eclectic and thoroughly diverse. I can play in many different styles from EDM, to jazz, to pop, funk and soul. When playing along with DJ's, I am able to improvise with great awareness of the song being played, the vibe in the room, and how I may be able to add to the music rather that play over it. All the while being present to what the room needs and then bring that energy. I can read, write and produce music at a masters level as I hold a MM from UNLV and a BA from SUU. ~ My specialty is playing along with DJ's to a wide range of music in any genera. If you book me to play with a DJ I will show up with a clip-on mic and need an XLR input on the DJ mixer to plug and play. ~ I also can create playlists and bring a portable small speaker system to play backing music or be prepared to plug into a current system at the venue to be able to play backing music and plug in my microphone. Each type of booking comes with a different fee. The second option comes with a higher rate as it takes more time and energy from me to produce playlists, learn specific music, and transport sound equipment. I look forward to hearing from you!
