Fred Horn Music Saxophonist from Northridge, CA

I do solo sax with backing tracks / also two piece with keyboardist Rob Mullins (look him up on you tube ) I do a variety of styles ranging from jazz standards to pop covers to r&b to funk and original funk dance music to Blues to Latin ( some cha cha, salsa and samba instrumentals) and even several Benny hill type yakety sax tunes. I can go from solo sax with backing tracks to duo on up to 5 piece with a lead vocalist. One of my guitarists sings and used to play in Helen Reddy's band and on The Midnite Special tV house band. I have 3 CD's which have been played on radio stations. I have recorded and performed with 5 members of Tower of Power, also with jazz pianist Benny Green,Latin jazz guitarist -Ray Obeido, New York session sax-Danny Wilensky , Mark VW bassist for the Escovedo family and Wayne Brady TV Show, Chris Standring -smooth jazz guitar I have performed with Les Claypool of Primus, Mike Elizando -bassist for Dr Dre.Vail Johnson bass for Kenny G,drummer Jonathan Dressel for Jimmey Kimmel Show, performed with rock singer Eddie Money,, David Hart-guitarist for Pointer sisters, played in drummer clinician Rick Latham's band, Mike Bloomfeid - blues guitarist, Bobby Vega -bass for Sly Stone, Bobby Pierce-keys for Sonny Stitt, I currently perform solo sax most Thursdays in Encino at Kravings Restaurant 6:30 -10:30 on Ventura Blvd near Reseda Blvd just off the 101 freeway My trio performs Saturdays at Bandera in west LA 630-1030 at sw corner of wilshire and barrington off the 405 freeway here are some of the songs I do on saxes with backing tracks, along with some flute clarinet, and keys girl from ipanema, corcovado, masquarade, as time goes by , georgia, aint no sunshine, by the beatles- norwegian wood , something, come together, here there and every where, jazz standards such as on green dolphin street, autuum leaves, i ve got rhythm, st thomas, blue bossa, all blues, just the way you are. over the rainbow, r&b, funk- pick up the pieces , rick james -cold blooded, super freak, sweet love-anita baker, james browns sex machine, mother popcorn, rap tracks to dr dre /snoop dog/ tupac- next episode, gangster party Latin and salsa, cumbias also
