Curt Romanowski Jazz Band from Amarillo, TX

Excellent choice as add-on musician for DJ engagements! Can make any vocalist sound even better, having played with the very best. Versatile. Plays standards, pop, jazz, R&B, etc. Hourly rates negotiable. Living in Bushland and traveling to any venue in Amarillo is a snap. Performed with the Garden State Arts Center Band until going off to college, joining a local trio, playing music for all occasions. While with the Garden State band, played with musical giants such as Tony Bennett and Lena Horne (these two simultaneously), Sammy Davis, Jr., Andy Williams, and Michel Legrand (Summer of '42, Watch What Happens, What Are You Doing the Rest of Your Life, The Windmills of Your Mind and notable other hits). While in law school, played with the South Street Rhythm & Blues (with lead guitarist and close friend, Jim Miller, formerly of the Saturday Night Live Band) and the Ohio Northern University Jazz Ensemble. Was privileged to have performed with the Johnny Carson Tonight Show drummer, Ed Shaughnessy. When stationed in Oahu, Hawaii while serving as a US Navy JAG Corps Officer and Special Assistant US Attorney, played lead sax in the Honolulu Jazz Band and enjoyed private lessons with Lew Tabakin (the splashy tenor man on Doc Severinsen's Tonight Show band). Also playing flute, clarinet (in pit bands only), as well as soprano, alto and tenor saxophones, nowadays, focused exclusively on the tenor. While in New Jersey running Romanowski Law Offices, performed with Barbara Harris, formerly lead singer with The Toys. She made famous the hit single, "A Lovers Concerto" (a pop piece based on Bach's Minuet) and "Attack;" both "Top Ten" favorites.
