My first year putting on the Santa suit was 2006(and it fit like a glove). I had been helping my parents for 31 years bring joy into people's lives. I have to tell you the story about how my father started portraying Santa Claus. We were at a friend's family farm in Indiana. My father was asked to play Santa while we were at the party. Not being prepared at all the family had a fake beard, a Santa coat and a baseball cap. My father put it on and Santa Martin was born. He had portrayed Santa for 31 years, my mother portrayed Mrs. Claus for the last 23 years. Due to health reasons they both had to stop after Christmas 2005. Over the years of helping my parents, I have watched them and learned from them how to be a fantastic Santa.  My Dad started with that fake beard and baseball cap and turned his outfit into a Beautiful, complete Santa suit, with his real beard that he would start growing from the beginning of Summer so it would be just right for Christmas.  My father "became" Santa when he wore the suit with his jolly attitude,  and I enjoy taking over that tradition, and seeing smiling faces in children of ALL ages and bringing the wonder of Christmas to everyone.  Before I arrive to the event, I call my contact to let them know I am about to arrive so they can get the people together inside the party. Once I'm there, I like to enter the room with a big, Ho, Ho, Ho! As I sashe' around the room jingling my bells I like to assess how the children are accepting me. I do not like to approach them right away if they are afraid. I like to have the children that are afraid see other children either shake my hand or give me a hug. I also like to give special attention to senior adults because Santa brings back so many special memories for them and Santa affects them in so many different ways. Then depending on the group that is in attendance, I sing songs, pass out presents and pose with the children or families for photographs. Santa Claus with a Real Beard travels from Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, to Madison, Wisconsin, to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and areas in-between. (I will travel further for special events.) Virtual Home Visits with Santa Claus Santa loves to visit good girls and boys. Stay right in your home and Santa will video chat with you and your children. Do you have family spread across the country?? No problem, they too can join in on the video call and watch as Santa visits your home virtually through Zoom. These live video face chats with Santa Claus last approx. 5 Minutes or 8 minutes in length and are fun for all ages. Tailored for each recipient. A questionnaire is asked when booking to ensure Santa knows if your child/ren have been naughty or nice. Virtual Home Visits start at $35. You may like to invite Santa Claus to your next Private in-home Family Gatherings, Company Parties, Corporate Events, Holiday Events, and Festivals – Madison to Milwaukee, and areas in-between. The in-home personal visits that Santa attends shouldn't take no more than 15 minutes up to 4 to 5 children. Possibly 20 minutes for up to six or eight children.
