Santa Larry Santa Claus from Cambridge, MN

I remember a Christmas back in 1955. All the kids were at my grandparents house in the Twin Cities, waiting downstairs for Santa. You could smell Grandma's Swedish meatballs and lefse, upstairs. We were all sitting on the fireplace mantel, with a fire going. There was a big Christmas tree, that all of us kids had just covered with tons of tinsel. There were my cousins and sisters & aunts and uncles and all our friends and relatives. There had to be 30 people waiting... all bubbling with excitement... especially us kids. I wanted a Tonka semi truck in the worst way. Then, we heard the footsteps and jingle bells coming down the steps, and my heart pounded. And then... "he" appeared at the bottom step, wearing a smudged rubber mask with a dirty goatee glued on, a red deer hunting suit and knee high green rubber garden boots, and he sounded like my dad. I'll remember that moment forever. Memories are important! You need the "real guy". Here he is! I started my Santa career 27 years ago, riding on a city fire truck, delivering presents to needy families in a twin cities suburb (I'll include a link to the youtube video upon request). I enjoyed it so much, I kept dong it for many years, while using synthetic hair features... After being retired for over 17 years, I thought I'd like to perform again. Last Summer I decided to grow my beard. After a few months, I liked the way it looked, and pulled out my old Santa suit. This past Christmas, I performed Santa for a half dozen customers, and thought I'd like to continue into the new season. By constructing my new web site and joining "Gigmasters (TheBash)", I've taken the required "next step". I also purchased a "Hollywood" quality suit from a professional costume company. Several of my costume "looks" can be seen here, on my profile. I have the old world look with my new costume... the traditional look with my original suit... and the casual look with my "off duty" suit. Depending on your wishes, budget and time limit, I can utilize all three looks. I have years of experience working with kids in the classroom, which has followed me into my new endeavor. I have a series of performances that has thrilled children this past year... which you can expect to see when I perform for you. I had the hobby of performing magic, so I include small, short bits of magic with stories that convinces kids that I'm "the real guy". And, I wear an earphone/mic that allows you to talk to me simply by calling my cell phone, that answers every question your children have for me immediately. "Who's' my best friend... what's my dogs name... where do I live" can all be answered immediately with this special feature.
