Hector and his band were exceptional in performance & professionalism. I must start by saying that they were on time. They were responsive to my requests. All of the guests were asking how I found them & comm. I was concerned that a 5 piece salsa band might not be able to produce the type of sound that I expected. I was completely wrong. They were just fantastic. They were also very patient with the dozen children also at the event. They allowed the children to try the bongos & sing into the mike, which I thought was just terrific. Would without a doubt hire them again and recommend them highly.
The event was a 40th b-day party & 50 guests(11 kids)

We had a great experience with Hector Jr Y Su Orquesta CANI at the opening party for dance studio in downtown Philadelphia (Salsita Dance Studio, www.salsitadancestudio.com). They were kind, professional and above all, highly talented musicians who really new how to get the party going!

I think that the band was great, but did not play like I had asked which was in 15 min increments and playing off the dj. The band in turn ended leaving sooner than the event was over. However, they were great and my guests really enjoyed themselves.

We went far and beyond the call of duty, the coordination was not set up correctly from their matradegan and disc jockey we played hard, we did more than our share but there was constant confusion with D.J. and coordination. That was not La Orquesta CANI fault... The crowd was awesome and they had an awesome time with us... we did our job and we also understand this is a very special day and as our previous clients would say we always achieve our objectives!

The whole band was not booked to perform, so I can not speak on the sound of the band as a whole, but the band that played at our event had a good sound. The actual process of getting the band booked was rather difficult because everything had to be done by mail since nothing could be emailed or faxed to the band (something that we feel is required in for a business in this day and age). The band had three sets, all of which they did not play in its entirety and continuosly left the stage early. While they were on the stage, though, the band did a good job of engaging the audience and giving the people what they wanted.

We believe the client did not take into account that we drove 4 hours going and 4 hours coming back & back, we went over and beyond our call of duty, the crowd was excellent, excited we even did an extra set, this client apparently left many things out..

They showed up late and the sound person never showed up. The DJ was not equipment with the music list given to him three weeks before the event. The music was good but not having a sound system, getting there late, DJ not having the music requested put a damper on what could have been a great experience.

Although this was a very special moment for this client, I believe she was overly exgerrating about completely what happen. I take full 100% responsability for my actions and we are deeply sorry for the sound system situation.

Hector Jr y su orquesta Cani played at our recent 70th anniversary gala, and they were wonderful! First of all, Hector is professional and dependable, and followed up diligently making the arrangements to hire the band very easy. At the event, Hector Jr y su orquesta Cani had great energy, sound, and the singing was outstanding! Although they are a latin band, they play a broad range of music. I would highly recommend the band, and would hire them again without hesitation.

Hector and his band were amazing. They showed up on time/played on time and played all of the songs on our requested playlist. Even though they played during our buffet dinner, our guests still got up to dance. They sounded great and we couldn’t thank them enough! Our guests loved them as well and could not stop raving about them.
