The Folksoul folks were all extremely professional and skilled musicians. Through the range of songs from classic standards to originals, each song was highly polished yet very lively. Our wedding guests loved dancing to one flavorful rhythm after the next, and a number of guests inquired how we came by such a gem of a band for our wedding.

Tattoo and The Folksoul Band was amazing. They had people dancing from the first note of the first song. Their set list was varied, exciting, and arranged with obvious taste and thoughtfulness. The band even learned a song to accompany the bride's sister. The guests were talking about the band all night and into the next day. Great experience and we recommend them and would hire them again!

Folk Soul Band made our wedding fantastic. They got all ages, from 3-70, on the dance floor, and one of the most frequent comments we got for days after the celebrations was "what a great band! Where did you find them?" We recommend them whole heartidly!!!!

The music was fantastic and the variety of songs was just what we wanted for our wedding reception. Expertly performed. The band switched easily from one genre of music to another. They were especially accommodating to learn a new song for our first dance and a rousing rendition of an old song for a special tribute, and even played the fiddle and guitar during our ceremony. Easy to work with and genuinely seemed to enjoy performing. The reception wouldn't have been so much fun without their music. They did an excellent job reading the crowd and keeping everyone dancing. We would definitely hire them again and many friends are considering them for future events.

They arrived on time and were very accomodating to location changes based on where my guests were for the party. They did an excellent job with the music choices, sound quality, and promptness. I was very pleased to have them as the entertainment for my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary. Thanks Folksoul Duo!

The band was awesome. They had everyone on the dance floor (even the kids who are more likely to be listening to hip hop and rap), had a discernible joy in the music, and were easy to work with throughout. Also, they are just pros -- great musicians, tight band, great repertoire. Would use them again in a heartbeat.

They were terrific. The crowd on the Commons in Newfane loved their style of music, their rapport with the audience and how accommodating they were. People we very happy sitting, listening, enjoying the music, the fresh air and the whole experience.
