Michael, that's exactly why I mentioned prior to flying up that I felt my checked bag 250-watt amp might be insufficient for that room and number of guests. However, you replied it would "be enough." I had planned on buying a larger wattage unit just to be sure...Yes, people in the rear of the room probably couldn't hear me, as pushing a small 250-watt amp will cause it to "distort" from power stress and I did notice that as your manager asked me to "turn it up" my "clipping light" (over-stressing the amp warning light) was blinking. Most all of the guests in the "golden horseshoe" area of my setup came up after my show and thanked me, wanted photos and really showed their gratitude. I always carry a video cam and that was evidenced after the concert, as folks came up for the pleasantries. Sorry you got a few saying they wasted their money...I figure $20 was about the same price as a signature martini?Awards & Badges
