Whinin' Cheez Acoustic Band from New York City, NY

Whinin' Cheez...Don't let the name fool you. We are an acoustic duo/trio/quartet consisting of male and female vocals, piano, acoustic guitar covering many genres & musical styles from the 50's through today. Our extensive song list features hits that your parents and your children can all agree on...no easy task. We fully understand the needs of our clients and adjust our set list accordingly...usually starting out at a lower volume so guest can mingle and talk to one another without having to scream over loud music. We can kick it up as the event progresses with dance tunes and some of the more rockin' material as the event progresses. Our sound quality is second to none...pure and natural and our setup is also neat and professional. We do not use pre-recorded tracks or drum machines. Our song selection, humble laid-back stage presence and warm sound conveys the comfort of an intimate living room concert. We arrange our set lists to strike a nice balance between the male and female vocals, harmonies and classic duets. We do the same with the instrumentation...mixing the James Taylor and Neil Young guitar driven material with Elton John, Billy Joel and Carole King piano music just to name a few. Whinin' Cheez will always arrive at your event and set up in a timely fashion ready to start earlier than scheduled if necessary...and extra time is never an issue. We love what we do !
