Ya Get What Ya Pay For Rock Band from Eugene, OR

For much of the past three decades song writer Wayne Clark has been honing his craft while fronting for several local bands. Wayne has a knack for writing socially relevant tunes without slapping you in the face with preachy, overbearing lyrics. His songs cover the gambit from acoustic to rock. Wayne's tunes are catchy and tight and most people who hear his bands have no idea they are listening to an all-original song band. The “Ya Get What Ya Pay For Band” formed when Clark had a chance to make music with his guitarist son Jake Clark and wife Mary Clark. Jake is a talented player influenced by local guitarist Joe Tennis and a host of others including Frank Zappa and Robert Cray. Mary is a classically trained pianist and music teacher at Harrison Elementary School. Rounding out the band are Lee Wege (on bass) and Bill Morrill (on drums) — both are from Cottage Grove.
