Formed in the winter of 2020, True North crafted their unique sound in a North Shore carpet warehouse. Born out of local bands Plan B, Take Two, and 5xFast, these seasoned rockers play the best of the 80's and 90's (U2, Pretenders, Smithereens, Tom Petty, Foo Fighters, Gin Blossoms, etc.) often with a slightly “edgier” spin. With fun, high-energy performances, True North gets the crowd up and moving, dancing and singing along to the “next generation” of classic rock hits they know and love. This band comes out swinging and doesn’t let up. Yeah, it can get a little loud, but you’ll leave with a smile on your face, trying to decide whether you’re exhausted or energized – often the answer is both!
