In the modern roots rock band, CloudPainter, RJ Cloud and Liz Painter showcase their vocal duo with bassist, Steve Smith and drummer, Josh Sailor. This entertaining act has a kiss of country, and a hint of southern rock that’s more Arizona than deep south. CloudPainter has flavor of The Grateful Dead meets Fleetwood Mac or perhaps toasts to love affair between Grace Slick and Tom Petty. Liz and RJ have been friends making music together for nearly two decades. Liz Painter is a singular talent in roots rock and folk who has traveled the desert southwest and beyond to share her gifts. RJ is the founder and CEO of Cloud Microphones and Cloud Music Recording Studios. RJ and Liz are also business partners in the sync-licensing arm of Cloud Music, LLC. ?
