Redemption Sevenfold Reggae Band from Los Angeles, CA

Redemption Sevenfold is one of the founding bands from the Los Angeles reggae scene of the 1980's. Singer/Rhythm Guitarist Redemption was a member of Joe Higgs' band and writes a mix of dance, spiritual, and militant reggae songs reminiscent of Peter Tosh, and Bob Marley. Unlike most current reggae bands whom only recycles old rhythms and songs, Redemption Sevenfold still puts work into creating new material which keeps their shows unique and fresh. Collectively and individually they have performed, recorded, and toured with Stevie Wonder, The Wailers, Steel Pulse, Burning Spear and members of notable bands such as Earth Wind & Fire, Frank Zappa, Ben Harper among others. They have played major festivals, concerts, and TV shows, including appearing on MTV. But, more importantly they love to connect with live audiences at regular club shows. The all-star band features one-of-a-kind, one-armed guitarist St. Paul, Exciting Nigerian drummer Mr. Pius, Multi-talented Spero Anthony on bass, and famed Jamaican bubbler Zacky on keyboards. They are conscious and professional performers who are available to play concert-level reggae at both small and large venues.
