About Talking Hands Theatre Talking Hands Theatre is a one-woman Western Massachusetts-based company committed to entertaining children with puppets by engaging their minds and their imaginations as well as their senses of humor. All shows are musical and include an interactive element. While I typically perform in schools, libraries, day care centers, parks, and homes throughout New England, we now offer online shows via Zoom. The birthday party show, "Kate and the Cake-Eating Cat" is always a hit. "Fairies of the Seasons" is a wonderful choice for a party or a preschool event; it is set on a dress that twirls as the seasons change and concerns the life cycle of trees. "Little Superheroes," is about how kids can help take care of the environment. "The Princess Who Escaped From Pirates" caters to everyone's passions. "Two Dinosaurs Are Better Than One" is a bully prevention show, featuring brightly colored table-top puppets. "Whale Tales" is all about marine animals and showcases a range of puppetry styles. She was employed as a puppeteer for Kids on the Block for three years and Blue Sky Puppet Theatre for two years. In 2003 she was the recipient of a Fulbright Fellowship to study puppetry in India as a tool for social change. She founded Talking Hands Theatre upon her return from India in 2004.
