Termite Watkins Motivational Speaker from Houston, TX

My name is Maurice “Termite” Watkins and I always loved a good fight. With a nickname like Termite and being a scrawny little kid I was offered many opportunities. From the age of 10 years old my passion was to be a champion. I realized that dream many times over by becoming our Nation’s first 16 year old Golden Gloves Champion (with an amateur record of 128 wins and 10 losses), by becoming a professional boxer (with a record of 58 wins, 5 losses, 2 draws, and 48 knock outs), and by concluding my career with a fight for the coveted world title! After my legendary career I was asked to go to Iraq and use my pest control skills to rid our US military camps of bugs, scorpions, and snakes. Through a series of events I was soon asked to coach and qualify the Iraqi boxing team for the 2004 Olympics which inspired the world and will inspire you as well, with my story of incredible perseverance overcoming daunting obstacles as I helped Iraq reach their Olympic dreams! My life story is currently being turned into a movie. My story is motivational, uplifting and inspirational. It can be used in multiple areas such as safety talks in the industrial field and motivational speeches for schools, businesses, churches, etc. It is my journey of getting the country off Iraq to the 2004 Olympics during a war. It’s a story of overcoming being bombed, shot at, language barriers, cultural differences, etc. A presentation with meet and greet and photo opportunities. They can expect their people to come out of this talk feeling like they can conquer the world.
