Severance Wine Bar is a wine and fondue bar located in Los Angeles, California that takes an atypical, yet lighthearted and modern approach to the restaurant industry. It was established after owner Evan Charest used his severance pay to start the business. Finding inspiration from an otherwise difficult time, Evan christened his enterprise after his experience. Now, celebrations of all types can be held within the bar’s brick walls. The Space The interior is fashioned with rustic accents to complement its industrial aesthetic. A private room with a corner bar can host between 36 and 50 people. Outfitted with vintage decor, the space features dark wooden tables and chairs that add to the oaky palette of the space. To the rear of the restaurant, at the wine counter, visitors can sample wine before a wood oven and surrounded by a trendy aesthetic. The Experience The full venue is able to host parties for 70 seated or 120 standing guests. The restaurant’s cuisine draws inspiration from French-Canadian food, featuring comfort classics with an innovative twist. Cheese fondue stations with a variety of dipping items are available to entertain and feed partygoers. The events menu can also be enhanced with charcuterie boards and aged wines.
