Fyfe and is operated by The Nineteenth Century Club. It is a proud subsidiary of The Nineteenth Century Charitable Association, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and celebrating historic buildings of note. The ballroom provides a refined backdrop for parties, receptions, and staged performances. The Space The Margaret Houck Ballroom is located on the second floor of Oak Park Banquet’s stately red brick building. It has a capacity of 270 guests for dinner receptions and 400 patrons for theater-style gatherings. Polished wooden floors and simple furnishings are fused with ornate accents such as lavish purple curtains that cover the stage area and antique chandeliers. This is a versatile, naturally-lit space and the layout can be curated to suit numerous functions. The Experience The dedicated staff at Oak Park Banquets are on hand to curate events, providing everything from tables and seating to state-of-the-art Steinway pianos for live entertainment. The on-site catering team is led by head chef John Linton and they strive to create fresh and delicious dishes to suit any occasion. There are a number of cuisine and beverage packages to choose from. Decorations are subject to the venue’s approval, and clients can submit their suggested décor ideas in advance of their event.
