This versatile room can be reimagined to suit corporate events and social gatherings. The MCA opened in 1996 and was designed by celebrated architect Josef Paul Kleihues. Its iconic aluminum and limestone facade is an ode to Chicago’s architectural history. The Space The Crown Family Conference Room is located on the third floor of this renowned museum. It boasts a modern minimal aesthetic, in keeping with the remainder of the building, which is home to some of the world’s greatest avant-garde artworks. Floor-length windows offer prime views of Lake Michigan and the museum’s picturesque sculpture garden. Hosts can choose a layout that best suits their event, such as U-shaped, theater, cocktail, or meeting-room setups. The Experience The Crown Family Conference Room can host groups of 40 to 100 people. Those hosting their event here can select three hours of access to the museum’s galleries for an additional fee. MCA Rentals and Catering comprises the specialized in-house vendors who are on hand to curate and cater to private parties. The skilled MCA managers remain on-site throughout special occasions and oversee their setups and breakdowns. The entire venue is wheelchair-accessible, and audiovisual equipment is available upon request.
