"Kid, you can play piano for me any time!" These cherished words were whispered in the ears of pianist David Foster by Frank Sinatra himself. The occasion was the presentation of a Frank Sinatra award to David Foster for an original solo piano composition performed live at Royce Hall UCLA. One of David Foster's early hires as a bandleader in Aspen, Colorado was world-famous saxophonist and personal friend Dave Koz. David Foster spent four years as house pianist at Sinbad's Restaurant next to the Ferry Building in San Francisco. He has entertained with professionalism and passion, and is eager to share his love of piano (all styles, all eras) with others.
