ANNIE SIMS OVERVIEW: I am a solo pianist as well as a singing pianist, and am happy to perform either way, depending on your preference. I have an extensive song list of over 500 songs in all major styles and have a Bose L1 tower P.A. that I can provide, if needed. If a piano is not supplied by the venue, I can also bring my electric piano for an additional fee. After graduating from the University of Tennessee with a degree in music education, I started playing and singing in Knoxville and across East Tennessee. I performed at the renowned Regas Restaurant downtown for two years before moving on to play and sing on cruise ships and in Europe for four years. After getting married and moving to Orlando, I was the in-house pianist/vocalist at the Walt Disney World Swan resort for ten years, moved to Nashville where I was a signed recording artist with three albums released, then moved to Los Angeles, where I spent five years playing keyboard and singing in tribute bands (Fleetwood Mac & Flower Power Rock). My husband and I happily returned to our East Tennessee roots in 2022, where I've been performing regularly for private events and at several venues, both as a soloist and with my two bands, "California Dreamin': Songs from Laurel Canyon" and "The Hollywood Trio," an eclectic jazz trio. When you hire me to provide music for your special event, you get a lifetime of experience (please see my resume below), a consummate professional (I'm detail oriented, to the max), and a genuinely kind, caring person, if I may say so myself. I am confident that I will deliver beyond your expectations, with a smile and a warm heart for you and your guests.
