It's amazing what goes on out here! I have been privileged (and joyful) to have photographed everything from polka bands to truffle farms, film festivals to gallery openings, rock n roll concerts to classical chamber recordings, Serbian baptisms to circus aerials, a 1st birthday and a 102nd (both in the same week!) And exciting and dynamic as the range can be (did I mention my work with a Kenny Rogers impersonator?) - the true comfort food for me are the classic events that involve the love, care and devotion of friends and family: birthdays, bar mitzvahs, quinceañeras, baby showers and bridal showers and wedding anniversaries. No matter what you are celebrating, I love being a small part of it, and helping out in the way that I do best. At your event, I will show up early (when appropriate) and stay late (as needed). I work quietly, independently, but am also open to direction and guidance as needed. All consultations are included in the fee, and I deliver a sample lot of photographs (for sharing and social media) within 12 hours of the event, with the remaining photos - ranging from 100 - 250+ - within 72 hours. All photographs are carefully edited, full-resolution, and include color and select black & white images. After you receive delivery of your photos, I am always available to you, and will keep a duplicate file of your work on the studio's hard drive, should you ever misplace or lose your original files. Best of all - these photos are yours to keep, share, print and enjoy without any additional charges. I love photography (of course) and I love the fleeing moment - and I strive to capture as many as I can with a wonderful selection of camera ranging from DSLRs (Nikon, Pentax) to mirrorless (Fujifilm) and even the occasional (and beloved) film cameras (including a 1962 Contaflex, a Mamiya RZ67 - quite the whopper!) and - for the daring - a 1953 Kodak Brownie Hawkeye (surprisingly wonderful - and unpredictable!) I am available for work every day of the week, every month of the year. Although I work primarily in North Carolina, I am also available for work outside of the state. My rates are reasonable, and three tiered (mini-event, half and full day) and include all editing, consultation, and advice about cameras and film!
