Ron Crites is a native of Orlando, Florida, where he grew up with country music and has been playing guitar since he was twelve years old. Now living in Hendersonville, TN and being one of nineteen children, Ron performs as a Solo Artist with the aid of a “Digital Ketron SD3 Multimedia Music Station”. By using this system and kicking Bass Foot Pedals, he gets a really full sound. He re-creates the sound of piano, brass and a host of other musical instruments with his Casio MG510 Midi Guitar. He has a wide variety of music from Traditional Country, Blues, Classic Rock and Roll, and Chickin’ Pickin’ Instrumentals. Ron is not just a musician but an “Entertainer”. “All of my musical career my real inspiration has been George Jones . Ron’s talent is known all over the world, a song from his Plain Country 2 CD, "Blues Roses" reached number twenty-four on the INDIE CHARTS in Europe. In April 1997 at Emma, MO, Ron opened for the great George Jones. Ron said performing on stage in front of 7000 people for almost an hour, as a solo artist was a dream come true let alone getting a chance to see and hear his idol. Ron has been an Entertainer for Carnival Cruise Lines for 10 years and while playing music on one of the Grand Ole Opry Country Cruises Ron had the opportunity to meet Brad Paisley and Little Jimmy Dickens while they listened to him for over two hours. Yet another “Grand Ole Opry Country Music Cruise” again with Brad Paisley after he enjoyed the way Ron performed George Jones Songs, Ron was hired to perform at “Brad’s Fan Club Party” in Franklin , TN at “The Factory". Ron also features a Tribute a George Jones and will bring the true look alike and sound like sound to the stage with his tribute to George Jones book him for your next event relive the memory of the Possum himself, George Jones.
