At 8 years old has been a versatile artist and songwriter in the Urban Art Center. As a music teacher, Turquoise lead Portsmouth's Urban Arts Center students to winning a gold medal in the Virginia Panorama Steel Drum competition, 2010. From Sandbridge to Charlottesville, from North Carolina's Outer Banks to Richmond, The band has performed to appreciative audiences young and old.
