Roemen and The Whereabouts. Motown. Retro Soul. Four Guys, a band and some tambourines. The group, based out of Seattle, WA, brings some serious love and fun to the stage and their music. Since the coming together in 2012 they have played clubs, casinos, private parties, resorts, a Seahawks game, weddings, birthday parties, corporate parties, back yard parties, summer festivals, and the list goes on! Between Mark, Tyler, Wayne and Chris, there are thousands of shows (no exaggeration), music degrees, tv and radio play, clinics, studio recordings and years of experience of playing around the country and the NW. Motown, Retro Soul. This is some fresh stuff with old flavor, old stuff with fresh flavor and something that these guys love doing......and doing with a passion! The song list keeps growing from artists like Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Otis Redding, Temptations, Commodores, Supremes, Prince, Michael Jackson, Mayer Hawthorne, Hall and Oates, Al Green and then some of their own stuff in the same vein that fits like a glove. This music gets you in the mood, in the groove and up dancing. Oh, and don't forget the tambourines..... *Featured in Seattle Bride Magazine - "Best of 2017" issue. *One wedding couple named their first born child "Roman" after the band....no kidding! Olympia Federal Savings - "Roemen and the Whereabouts were the perfect band for our corporate holiday party. Everyone hit the dance floor on the very first song!" Wedding Client - "We loved their repertoire. Professional, musically tight, and obviously passionate about the music they play, we can't recommend them enough." Wedding Client - "Everything worked out so smoothly!!! Everyone at the wedding was blown away by you guys :) THANK YOU!" Edifice Construction - "Everyone loved you guys at the party. Thank you for making my event such a great experience." Casino employee - "You guys are the band that doesn't sound like cheesy karaoke" Seahawks game attendee - "My wife couldn't get enough of you guys and didn't want you to stop." Manager of Tutta Bella - "They bring the party! Their amazing mix of old and new classics keep the party entertained well into the wee hours of the night!" Space Needle Event - "They were very professional, engaging and it was a great pleasure to work with them" Wedding Client - "They were so awesome - friends and family are still talking about it months later!" United Way event - "WOW! HOT! and HIP! High energy, teriffic harmony and positively upbeat music for our event. Highly recommended by us for any serious musiclovers whether private or corporate event." Wedding Client - "They're consummate professionals (after the closing number, while they were packing up their gear, they were already talking about new ideas for harmonies, which breakdowns to extend, which choruses to beef up, etc.) but they're also SO MUCH FUN--to watch, to listen to, to dance to, to applaud and applaud and applaud. From the important logistics (sound systems and arrival times and set lists) to the most important thing of all--helping everyone dance their pants off--they were flawless. And so friendly and so generous with their good vibes! Also, one of my baby nieces (a two-year-old named Hero) pretty much fell in love with the guitar player. That was also hilarious and awesome. In short, I hereby swear I will crash every single wedding they play at from now on, and that's the ONLY downside to asking them to be your band. I now believe that every marriage should be built on a foundation of trust, and Roemen and the Whereabouts."
