Ryan spent time in jail, fought learning disabilities, and spent two years as a drug addict, accumulating $30K in court fines and being pulled over three times with drugs in his possession. Through sheer determination, Ryan turned his life around, transforming it into a story of triumph and service. As a 13-year military veteran, Ryan’s platoon endured harrowing experiences, including deadly vehicle explosions during his two tours in Afghanistan, with 23 out of 32 soldiers injured and one killed in action.
