My life and story are a testament to the enduring power of self-discovery, resilience, determination, and vulnerability. In 2008, I won the Kyle Woods Award at Baylor University for inspirational leadership. I started two years at inside linebacker, and got my short-lived shot (due to injury) with the Cleveland Browns. Then, I began a career with Northwestern Mutual where I won New Representative of the Year in 2010. In 2011, I became the College Unit Director and spoke in several university classrooms. By 2013, I was promoted to Recruiting Field Director. In 2016, my life took a major turn due to an incredibly difficult family situation. This lead me through a deep depression, but it would ultimately lead me to become the man I am today. My story will resonate, inspire, and encourage people from all walks of life to become the highest versions of themselves.
