Derrik and Julie were very much fun to be around and our public loved having them! However, we had only planned to have them for 30 minutes and we said it was OK to go over 5-10 minutes but it went much longer so we had to do some last minute program cuts during gala to fit it in which threw us off a little! They are a great duo for the right event but it is better if it is a solo performance and not part of a bigger evening. Their story is very touching and Julie is so smart and funny that she completes the show well! It was great to get to know them.

Before I even met Derrick, I knew he would be perfect for my husband's Celebration of Life service. After doing some research, I found that Derrick has a heart of gold and a very positive attitude-just what our family needed!
Our friends and family will tell you that he was amazing and we will never forget his heartfelt words (and jokes!). We would recommend Derrick 100% !!!

Our 99 Walks community had such a fun evening laughing and being inspired by both Derrick and Julie. Though the event was held via Zoom, it almost felt like we were all sitting around a campfire together joking and laughing and having the best time! It was a wonderful, interactive evening, and I'm grateful to Derrick and Julie for sharing their talents with us.

I found out about Derrick and Julie Tennant from the director of one of our local drop-in centers. She highly recommended the duo. I then preceded to contact Derrick and discuss the possibility of him and his sister being a part of a Community Support Program event that I was hosting. They accepted the invite! Their presentation had me crying and laughing. It made me continue to reinforce the idea that anything is possible despite the barriers that one often encounters. As a CSP Ambassador, I plan on continuing my relationship with Derrick and Julie Tennant, and I will ask them to participate in future events that I will host.

Our Experience with The Love Chromosome was amazing. They were very professional, accommodating, and perfect for our Banquet.
