Capt. Todd A. Bourgeois is an eight year veteran of the United States Navy Seabees and has been a career firefighter and recently retired with over 32 years of service. Capt. Bourgeois attended LSUE for an Associate degree in Emergency Services Technology and holds numerous certifications from LSU. He attended and graduated from the National fire Academy, Emmitsburg, Maryland in the field of Public safety and Emergency Management. His last assignment was, Officer in charge of an Engine company responding to all types of emergency incidents with the Lafayette Fire Department. His duties also include the training of firefighters and senior Fire Officers in the field of leadership and our greatest tenet, "selfless service".
