Matt Macis - Crooner Michael Buble Tribute Act from Austin, TX

Hailed "a genuine find" by The Washington Post, Matt Macis has been entertaining audiences worldwide for over a decade. He has amassed a career on Broadway, in casino showrooms, on cruise ships, and alongside Hollywood legends. Matt's passion is making the classic music of The Great American Songbook accessible for every generation and all audiences. One of his favorite reviews from a previous client says it all: “This music was cool then, and Matt makes it cool now.” Work with Matt in a variety of formats - a full-length stage show, an intimate cabaret, some beautiful atmospheric music, or even filling the dance floor at your event! Dean Martin's daughter Deana once told Matt, "...what you do, you do damn well!", and that has inspired him to continue the legacy of performers like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Jr., and Andy Williams. One of Matt's featured shows is "Macis Swings Darin!" a retrospective of the songs and story of Bobby Darin. After a cruise ship performance of the concert, Matt met a lifelong friend of Bobby who went to grade school and kept correspondence with him throughout his short, but dynamic life. This friend, whose name is intentionally omitted for privacy, said "It's been nearly 50 years since I last was with Bobby - but tonight he was back with me again." A very humbling and emotional experience. Matt also works as a producer, creating, consulting and collaborating on shows featuring other artists. His mixed-race vocal group The Boardwalk Brothers (think Jersey Boys meets Motown) was one of the hottest performing arts center and festival groups in the nation before the pandemic paused live performances. He is currently developing a piece on Sammy Davis Jr. which was recently workshopped through a program at the Smithsonian in Washington DC, and another on Judy Garland - which received the Live Music Grant Fund Award in Austin, TX, and stars his wife QVC personality Hannah Timm.
