American Union Fife & Drum Marching Band from Broomall, PA

The musicians of the American Union Fife & Drum, have been together since the year 1975 and have performed for such dignitaries as Presidents Jimmy Carter & Bill Clinton... Queen Elizabeth, President Valery Giscard d'Estaing of France, King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden, President Hamid Karzai of Afghanistan and the opening ceremonies for the 2000 National Republican Convention, the inaugural match of the professional Women's Soccer team, the Philadelphia Independence, and the 2010 Tiger Woods AT&T Nationals Golf Tournament, among others. The fife & drum musicians have also done tours of the UK & Italy. The musicians of the American Union Fife & Drum can be seen performing regularly around Independence Hall, Valley Forge National Historic Park, the Philadelphia & Tri-State areas and appear regularly on local & national television. The American Union Fife & Drum can be hired as a duo, trio, quartet, or up to as many as 10 members and the uniforms can either be adapted for the American Revolution - Red Continental Uniforms worn by the American musicians, as to be seen at a distance and through the smoke of battle - not to be confused with the "Red Coats" of the British Army, (which were styled much differently), white or light blue "Rifle Frocks" or simple vests... or as musicians from the American Civil War. The American Union Fife & Drum performs authentic music dating from the 1700s, during the American Revolution, as well as music of the 1800s, covering the War of 1812 and the American Civil War.
