Although the amount of time & travel distance are factors affecting my fee, I am more concerned about the experience I can give and usually over-deliver on the time I spend at events schedules permitting. When requesting my services, I would appreciate knowing: > How much time is needed? > How flexible or tight is the time frame? > How many guests (kids and adults)? > What is your budget? (I try to accommodate most budgets I work with) > Are you interested in having interactive strolling close-up, a stand-up show, or combination? > Will the event be held at a private home, restaurant, park, or some other venue? > Indoor or outdoor? (wind, heat, uneven ground, and lighting can be factors) > If a stand-up show is requested, is an there adequate area to act as a stage for all to see? > Will any other entertainment be going on or food being served at the same time? > Will dress be casual, business, or formal? I will travel to almost any location in South California, but my fee will reflect compensation for travel time & distance. I do not use fire, live animals, or do balloon sculptures, juggling, face-painting, or clowning. I had no idea what to expect in terms of how to introduce Todd, but as soon as he walked in, he began entertaining people. Todd was very thoughtful in his presentation. Todd mingled, delivering magic up close with our group of about 40 people. As I watched him go from one cluster of people (during appetizers), he was selective in choosing which group he could join without being disruptive to the flow. All in all, Todd was a true professional. He also had a wide variety of magic and puzzles, each that amazed and delighted our attendees.
