Chicagoland area magician specialized in the Art of Street Magic for over 20 yrs. I strive to make my style of magic very "natural looking." Everyday objects such as coins, jewelry, lighters, etc are requested from participants to be used as props during the magic effects. My show is heavy with audience participation. Volunteers are left to feel as though they were a direct influence of the outcome of the magical display. This type of show is meant to leave people with the emotional impression that they themselves have just experienced or even performed magic (not just viewed/ witnessed magic abilities by the magician), and that magic is in and around everyone and everything all of the time.

Norman Basile is the real deal! He performed at Siemens automation department's holiday party and was a big hit! He arrived on time and was very professional while having a down-to-earth, friendly personality. I asked him to roam the room performing slight of hand tricks with small groups of guests. He was perfect! He made us laugh and kept us in absolute awe. I wanted guests to feel comfortable and not cornered into being an audience and that appeared to be Norman's specialty. He only called attention to the entire room for one final magic trick before he left, and by that time he had won our attention! His final trick was truly mind-blowing! Highly recommend!

Norman was GREAT! He arrived and started early. He didn't need much of anything from me at all... he just got started. The walk around magic was fantastic, he was great at engaging different groups young and old. His magic was different and not at all same old. He also did a "show" for us in front of about 80 people. He had the young ones participate a lot and that of course made the parents and the kids happy. I would have him back! Everyone loved it.

Flat-out, Norman Basile was outstanding. I'm still getting messages and hearing from people from the party about how excellent the magician was. Communication along the entire booking process was great. The party was starting to feel like people were getting bored just when Norman arrived and then he breathed new life into the party. Realistically, his performance likely led to many guests staying 2 hours longer than they would have. 1 hour to watch the magic and another to talk about "how he did that". Norman does street magic so he is used to being in a crowd with people all around him, which is perfect. He even arrived in a masquerade costume fit the theme
