The Darryl Hill Blues Band Blues Band from South Easton, MA

The band is going into it's 10th year and has been a 5 star band from the beginning to it's present lineup. It is fronted by Darryl Hill who actually prefers the sidelines playing Guitar/Keys and working as Music Director. Darryl has played national tours in the past with Luther Snakeboy Johnson and was a member of Tops in Blue in the USAF. He is a guitar virtuoso and has many albums on the market available on most Digital download sites. The actual front is made up of the brother/sister team of Chris Arnold on Trumpet and Lead Vocals and, Stephanie Arnold on Lead Vocals. They are a powerhouse music dynamo and bring a chemistry that turns heads at all our shows. Chris is a master of the Trumpet and has a voice that matches in excellence. Stephanie is absolutely spellbinding with her voice and together their harmonies showcase the performances. The Rhythm section is solid as a rock consisting of Russell Shoals Dougherty on Bass. Russ is just as adept on Upright Bass as well as Electric Bass. He performs in many other groups and this brings in a lot of diversity from his exposure to other music. On Drums we feature Gary Johnson. Gary is the drummer of choice throughout all of New England in the Jazz world and he has performed with The Artie Shaw Orchestra, The Glenn Miller orchestra, Dizzy Gillespie and too many to put here without filling the whole page. Gary is very active in Recording, Teaching and making music his only career. The music is always infectious to dancing and has many people on the floor or hooting and hollering for more yet always leaving everyone of all ages completely satisfied. Our reviews from past shows says it all. We specialize in Blues of all types from Chicago to Texas Swing and often will jump into Zydeco and Classic rock. We have done many Mardi Gras shows and have often been told by people hailing directly from New Orleans that we are bringing to New England the real Deal. We have had enormous talent from the original conception of a quartet founded by Darryl, Bill Murphy, Gary Hunt, and Chris Schopp to a large 7 piece adding on Chris Arnold and Mike Zucco on horns and including Stephanie and for a short stint Sharon Wendy Roberts or also Bill Schopp. All in all, the band is established and has proven over and over that they are the perfect choice for your event.
